Question: I proposed that Alzheimers and Prion and Parkinson are protein diseaseswhere a *protein manufacturing site within the brain has gone awry*. The Prusiner model is a false model. The bad prion protein may incitethe manufacturing sites into going awry, but the bad prion does notmisshape good prion. Alzheimers and Parkinson thus share one thing in common withPrion disease. That if you take the bad protein of Alzheimers orParkinson and put it inside healthy brains, that the person cancontract Alzheimers or Parkinson. Just as you inject bad prionproteins into a healthy person can induce the disease. What's your thoughts???
Answer: Alzheimer's vaccine trial is suspended... halted tests of an experimental vaccine for the brain disorder.Citing evidence of inflammation in the central nervous system infour of the 97 patients in a French trial.... The vaccine consists primarily of a protein fragment called beta-amyloid, the same substance that accumulates in the brains ofpeople with Alzheimer's. When mice with symptoms resemblingthose of Alzheimer's disease were injected with beta-amyloid, thetreatment limited and cleared deposits of the protein from theirbrains. I hope all of the 97 people in the French trials of the Elan Alzheimersvaccine already had Alzheimers. I would guess that if you take100 normal people in midage and who have no family history ofAlzheimers and subjected those 100 people to the vaccine for someperiod of time, I would hazard to guess that an inordinate number of those100 will contract Alzheimers. Now I wonder, and I suppose Elan will not divulge the information. ButI wonder if intense inflammation of the central nervous system of those4 cases of the 97 which halted the trials. I wonder if Alzheimers patientshave two types of Alzheimers a slow type and a speeded up or acceleratedAlzheimers? If there is an accelerated type of Alzheimers in existence, then I suspect that the Elan vaccine had caused 4 of those 97 trial persons to have contracted a accelerated Alzheimers.
