Question: Dementia made worse by PD medications? Is it right or wrong??? What's your opnionson this???Anyone have experience with this? Can dementia can be caused or made worseby taking Parkinsons medication? Can anyone give me some suggestions or comments???
Answer: Dementia is a disease of the aged and yet, not all old people get it.Dementia is commonly experienced by patients suffering from Parkinsons andyet, not all such patients get it. Its cause does not appear to beunderstood by the medical profession. I'm not in the medical profession and make no suggestions to you along thoselines. What I would suggest, however, is that there's a world ofinformation on both dementia and Parkinson's Disease available for you onthe Internet and you have only to go to google.com, punch in "Parkinson'sDisease", and that world will open up for you. Dementia can be caused by many things. Probably the most common issmall strokes. I don't know enough about Parkinson's to comment onthat. I would certainly recommend that you talk to the doctor about it.
