Aphasia Symptoms

Question:
I was diagnosed with CFS in late 1993. Most of the time my fatigue isnow good, but I have been having continuous pain in my neck (left morethan right) as well as occasional dizziness since early Nov. OriginallyI thought I was having problems from a previous injury but after havingmassage therapy and chiropractic care, nothing has really improved.Anybody else have these same problems?

Answer: You'll probably find, as you go along, that new symptoms willappear, some of the old ones will disappear, and they'll rotate andrecombine over time. The downside is you really never know "what next", butthe upside is that several symptoms will be relatively short-lived or onlyshow up once in a while.

As far as the dizziness goes, keep plenty of Dramamine on hand and make sureyou try not to get over-tired. For me, getting worn out and/or stressed aretwo very potent triggers for dizziness. Also make sure you get up VERYslowly in the mornings, one movement at a time. Sometimes a cold pack on theback of the neck will help as well.

I do have that problem: looking for names that I know perfectly well (Ican for instance see the face in my head), saying one word instead ofanother, making a new word with two different words, saying something thatmakes sense to nobody...my husband says that I suffer from mild aphasia. Ihave been sick for approx. 15 years and have other neuro symptoms.
