I am married for over 20 years and mostdefinitely hetero (in case anyone was curious). The other lady the trollmentions is an elderly sweet lady who lost her husband to Alzheimers sometime ago. This troll just pops in now and again. Best ignored. Theyhooked onto me because I defended another person they were hassling.

Answer: Better if we don't. Those poor folks are dealing with enough sorrow andtrouble in their lives right now. All the posters there are caregiversfor loved ones with Alzheimers disease. I go there because I care for myelderly mother in law at home, who is in an advanced stage right now.

They all progress at different rates, depending on their medication, theamount of mental stimulation they receive, their nutrition, many otherfactors. Some are gone only three years from diagnosis, and some live fortwenty years in pretty much the same state. Usually the families don'ttalk too much about it, because it is as though the person's brain is dyinga little at a time before their body does. It is a rotten way to go, butthe good thing is that they aren't in much pain.
