We will be visiting Amsterdam (from the UK) for a long week-end Friday 27th to Monday 29th May. Can anyone suggest a moped or scooter rental agency that would be open and able to rent us a couple of bikes for Sunday 29th - rather than spending the whole time in the city centre we thought it would be fun to get out and about.

As I understand it, we all have cholesterol build-up and no medical doctor or specialist can say for sure whether a significant build-up would affect one's memory. People's memory can be affected without having significant cholesterol levels as it can in those with high cholesterol. It's just that they can't say for certain that memory loss is caused from the build up of cholesterol. Perhaps someone could enlighten me if they know differently. I'm really tired tonight so don't know if I'm making much sense here. Bernard, a CT scan should tell whether or not your mother has had a stroke before or not. A lot of these procedures come with a risk and at her age the risk probably outweighs any results, I would think. My 84 year old mother just won't chance a lot of these procedures and personally, I'm glad she feels that way.
