Alcohol Related Dementia

Question:
If I've laid my deodorantdown, can't find it, and I'm in too big a hurry to search for it, I goto the kitchen cabinet and grab the baking soda.

At on time, I had so much trouble with my pits that I had to avoid alldeodorants. (I kept getting infections that caused knots so big that myarms wouldn't even lay flat at my sides.) I think it might have happenedbecause I was paranoid that I might stink and worked my way up toMitchum's...the strongest I could find. My doctor told me it often worksbetter than deodorant...she was right.

I use a dab of tea tree oil instead of deodorant. Works better ateliminating any smell and doesn't have aluminum...antiperspirants anddeodorants do.

but why don't I want any aluminum? Is it bad?

Can anyone show me why???

Answer: It might be linked to Alzheimers BUT no one knowsif it is cause/effect or conicidence. My ownbelief(non scientific) is that some peole processthe aluminum differntly than others. I try not touse products that contain it such as aluminum potsand anti-perspirants. It is possible to getdeoderants without it. Antacids are culprits, too.I watch more for Bob as his mom had it for 15years(that we knew about it) so if there arethings that can be avoided, we try.

Late age, alcohol-related dementia is in my familyso my son avoids that. And I have not beendrinking at all since the FM (and never drank thatmuch before) so I may skip that one.

I don't do much to modify my diet but aluminum iseasy enough not to pig out on.
